Agent Mark Rodgers confirmed to The News Tribune at 1:35 a.m. Tuesday the contract is worth $140 million in new money over four years, with a $65 million signing bonus.
That $35 million per year makes Wilson’s the richest contract in NFL history, as he had sought and the Seahawks had planned for their franchise and Super Bowl-winning quarterback all along.
I don’t care how much they paid the guy, I’m just glad they paid the guy. Now, hopefully, he doesn’t post any more weird videos from his bed on social media.
